NAOMH COLMCILLE advanced to the Northern Board Under-16 Division 3 League final thanks to a narrow win over Robert Emmets this evening.

Keenan Diver’s early goal and 1-8 tally proved vital for the Newtown outfit as they advanced to a final meeting with Glenfin.
After 12 minutes, Diver caught a long ball in from Mark McDaid and shot to the bottom left-hand corner of the Robert Emmets goal.

Bogan’s goal in the second half kept Robert Emmets in touch, but with Diver on fire Naomh Colmcille had the edge.
Naomh Colmcille also had two points from Ronan McKinley, who will be with the Republic of Ireland squad this coming weekend at the Hibernia Cup.
