Bríd McGinty’s team, who yesterday qualified for the final of the Ulster Cup thanks to a 4-1 win over Illies Celtic, shook off the effects of that fixture with another useful win.
It took the Orchard Park side just 10 minutes to open the scoring with Amy Boyd netting after good approach work by Danielle McDevitt on the right flank.
Finn Valley debutant Danielle McGinley showed well early on and she teed up Lisa McCafferty for a chance, but Catherine Grier made a good block.

Just before half-time, Callaghan made it 3-0.
By then, it was a damaged limitations exercise for the Finn Valley side, but they pulled a goal back.

Second half goals by Chantel Kelly and Boyd, with her second of the game, sealed a big win for Lagan.
