Dunlewey Celtic will return to the Donegal Junior League for the 2016/17 season, it has been confirmed.
After a year’s absence from the League, having withdrawn last summer, junior soccer will return to Glentornan Park next month.
Having previously competed in Division Two of the Sunday League, Dunlewey have entered the Saturday League this time around.
Their return was confirmed this week as plans gather pace for the new campaign, which will kick off with the Brian McCormick Cup on August 14.
In effect, they will take the place of Drumkeen United, who have moved into the CT Ball Division Two of the Sunday League for the new season. Sam Hegarty has been confirmed as the new manager at St Patrick’s Park.
