THE DONEGAL DERRY VIPERS marked their first game in Donegal yesterday by claiming a win that sends them into the Bowl game and, with it, promotion into IAFL 1.
The Vipers turned on the style in the third quarter when they ran in four touchdowns to move onto 4-0 for the season and scoring their second zero-point game of the campaign.
Frosses native Colm Kelly opened the scoring with a touchdown on the first drive of the game.
Danny Mullen, Chris Tinney and Dermot Brown ran in TDs and quarterback Nic Young sneaked in for another.
After the game, we spoke to Vipers founder and running-back Cathal Curran, Kelly, Brown, Young, defensive captain Paddy Maguire and Vipers coach Jason Brock about the historic fixture.
