CONGRATULATIONS TO MARTIN O’REILLY, who was chosen as the Anthony Conaghan Cars Player of the Week.
The MacCumhaill’s clubman (pictured above by Geraldine Diver) had his best game in a Donegal jersey in the 0-17 to 2-10 victory over Monaghan at Breffni Park last Saturday week.
As well as chipping in three points from play and unlucky not to score a second half goal, O’Reilly provided excellent link-up play for the side managed by Rory Gallagher.
O’Reilly also shackled Monaghan’s Karl O’Connell, who had won man of the match in the original meeting of the sides seven days’ beforehand.
O’Reilly picked up 232 votes in all, to win the award.
In second place was St Mary’s Convoy goalkeeper Conor Cairns for his showing in the Junior A Championship against Letterkenny Gaels with Gary Ban McClafferty from Downings in third.
