After extra time

The home side had the better of the first half and points three points from Michael Langan and a fine goal from Colin McFadden and another point from Lee McColgan left them well placed at the break with the visitors only replay coming through three points from Sean Hume.

The visitors – without a number of key players, including Donegal minor ace Niall O’Donnell – came back strongly in the second half and further scores from Hume reduced the deficit to just two points, but a further point from Langan kept their the St Michael’s noses in front.
Eventually points from Hume and Brian McIntyre brought St. Eunans level before Hume put them ahead from a free.

Extra time was another tight affair but points from Oisin Clarke and Sean Hume cancelled out a St. Michael’s point from Michael Langan to see St. Eunans progress to the next round by the narrowest of margins.
