LETTERKENNY GAELS U-8, U-10 and U-12 camogs travelled to Derry yesterday to take part in mini blitzes with teams from Na Magha, Dungiven and Drumsurn.
Na Magha in Derry City celebrated the official opening of their new clubhouse with a day of hurling and camogie and the Gaels camogs were in attendance.
Played in bright sunshine, the matches were end to end and all our girls enjoyed lots of competitive camogie. Everyone was a winner on the day.
The girls were treated afterwards to face painting, hot dogs and ice cream – a great show of hospitality from the Na Magha club.
The Liam McCarthy and O’Duffy Cups were also present and all teams got the opportunity for photographs.
Gaels would like to thank Sharon McCullagh for the invitation and also Donna and Emmet McCloskey and to wish them and Na Magha success for the future.
Their next day out is an U-8 and U-10 blitz in Four Masters, Donegal Town on Saturday 10th June.
Camogie training continues on Monday and Friday 6-7pm for U12 & U14, and Friday 6-7pm for U8 & U10. Contact Aideen 086 816 3605 for information.
