NOEL GILLESPIE BELIEVES Milford United have the talent to win the Brian McCormick Sports Premier Division next season.
The Milford United manager was speaking in the wake of his side’s 3-0 win over Castlefin Celtic in the Brian McCormick Sports Cup final on Sunday at Ballyare.
[adrotate group=”42″]“There’s too much talent on this team not to be challenging for silverware and leagues,” he said. “They’re definitely good enough to win the league but would have to put in a big shift all year.
“It’s good to have the Brian McCormick at the end of the day. The bit of silverware makes it all worthwhile.
Gillespie paid tribute to midfielder Paul Nash, who was absent from the final as his wife Bríd was giving birth to a baby daughter called Reilly.
[adrotate group=”41”]“Paul is the senior man at the club,” Gillespie added. “He has a good year. She had a baby girl and has double reason for celebration.”
