FINN VALLEY AC PAIR Arlene Crossan and Janine Boyle continued their scintillating form yesterday at the IFAM meeting in Oordegem, Belgium.
Crossan won the women’s 400m hurdles and clocked a World Junior ‘B’ standard in the process.
Crossan took gold in a time of 60.5 seconds, a new Finn Valley AC record and a new pb for the Lurgybrack woman.

Crossan smashed the previous club record, held by Castlederg woman Margo Davis, who timed 64.1 seconds at a schools international.
Crossan has only just began the 400m hurdles having last year finished in ninth in the long jump final at the European Youth Championships.
The Loreto Secondary School student ran 60.96 in France recently to make the EYOF qualifying mark for this year.
Boyle (above), who has also reached the EYOF qualifying mark having won a 100m race in Waterford in 11.94 seconds, was also in blistering form in Belgium.
Boyle anchored the Irish women’s 4 x 100m relay team to a World Junior qualifying mark as they clocked 46.5 seconds.
