CARL MCHUGH’S PLYMOUTH ARGYLE played out an entertaining 2-2 draw in the first leg of the League Two play-off semi-finals.
The Lettermacaward native played 90 minutes at Fratton Park ahead of Sunday’s second leg.
Portsmouth took the lead through Mark McNulty, only for Argyle to 2-1 in front by the 19th minute after two goals from Jamille Matt – the first a header and the second a fine overhead kick.
Gary Roberts’ second-half penalty made it 2-2 following a foul by Peter Hartley on McNulty in the area.
