CHRIS MALSEED WAS the heartbeat of the Donegal League Premier Division winning Drumoghill FC side.
The team from the Moss drew 2-2 last night against Gweedore Celtic to win the title for the first time since 1995.
It was a nervy evening for the side managed by Michael Lynch as twice – both times through Tomás Diver – the visitors went in front.
However, Drumoghill levelled in each half, with Philip Whyte and Ray Quinn grabbing the goals to get the party started.
“We knew Gweedore would come here and they were scrapping for their lives,” Malseed said. “We got the point we needed but we got there. Worzel (Philip Whyte) got the first one and Ray Quinn got the second one – two boys that don’t really score too much. We’ll take it.

Afterwards, Malseed spoke to Charlie Collins …
