ST EUNAN’S COLLEGE were crowned Treanor Cup winners this afternoon when they defeated St Patrician High School Carrickmacross at Drumragh.
The Letterkenny side came though an entertaining contest in the Tyrone sunshine, winning 4-10 to 2-6 in the end with Conor O’Donnell scoring a hat-trick of goals.

St Eunan’s are under the joint-management of Colm McFadden and Chris Carr and they were delighted to see their team lift the Ulster Colleges U-15½B crown.
[adrotate group=”41″]“We knew in the ssecond half we would win the game if we stopped them scoring goals,” McFadden said. “It was a great performance by the whole team. Their effort, workrate and commitment was top class.
“Conor has been fantastic all year. He’s got that license. He’s a fantastic finisher and did very well today.”
Carr added: “We’re delighted. The boys worked hard. You could see the plan there in the second half. Carrickmacross were probably the better team at the second half of the first half. They’re dangerous in front goal.”
