DONEGAL WAS WELL-REPRESENTED at the Sperrin Metal Middle East Championship final over the weekend.
Danny Curran from Gaoth Dobhair was part of the Abu Dhabi Na Fianna side that overcame Dubai Celts 1-11 to 1-7 at Zayed Sports City in Abu Dhabi.
Curran (pictured by Stew and Tina Hunt) was part of the Donegal side who won the Ulster Under-21 Championship in 2010 under Jim McGuinness, playing alongside current Donegal senior panellists like Michael Murphy, Leo McLoone, Eamonn Doherty, Mark McHugh, Paddy McGrath and Peter Boyle.
Curran kicked two second half points in the final for Abu Dhabi Na Fianna, who led 1-4 to 1-2 at half-time before going onto win by four points.
