DONEGAL WERE BEATEN by Tyrone in the Ulster Under-17 League final at Maghera this afternoon.
Donegal 0-6 Tyrone 1-18
The Red Hand County were convincing winners against the side managed by Brian McGeehin.
A goal as early as the seventh minute from Cathair Gallagher set the tone for the game and at half-time, Donegal trailed 1-8 to 0-4 with Thomas McGowan from Four Masters scoring two frees and Cian McEniff and Michael Gallagher on the mark.
Tyrone, at that stage, had clocked up a healthy seven-point interval lead with PT Cunningham popping over three frees, while Oran Sludden scored twice as well.

Tyrone opened with five points on the bounce, with Morgan scoring twice to get going. They continued on the front foot to win in the end by 15 points.
