A GOAL FROM Ronan Curtis set Derry City on the way to victory tonight over Shamrock Rovers to move them to the top of the SSE Airtricity League Premier Division.
The St Johnston native put the Foylesides outfit 1-0 in front on two minutes when he scrambled the ball home following a ball from Barry McNamee from Ramelton.
McNamee laid on goal number two on 22 minutes with an excellent cross for Harry Monaghan, who headed past Barry Murphy.
Derry made it 3-0 when Rory Patterson slotted home a 57th minute penalty.
After losing 2-1 at Finn Harps, Derry are now unbeaten in their last six outings in the league.
