Ryan Gillespie got the hosts off to a good start with two points in the opening minutes but a Darren Doherty put Four Masters ahead after seven minutes.
Gavin McGinley leveled before points were traded by Ryan Gillespie and Michael Doherty.
Martin Cunningham scored from play before a golden patch for Four Masters from Donal Ward (3) and Sean Meehan put three between the teams.
The turning point came before half time when Micheal Doherty had a penalty brilliantly tipped onto the crossbar by O’Donnell (pictured above) and back into play.

With 15 remaining Doherty drew Four Masters level with a free, but a free from Paddy Byrne turned out to be the winner.
