THE FORMAT FOR SATURDAY’S Donegal Club Championship draws have been confirmed by the Donegal CCC (Competitions Controls Committee).
The draws for the Donegal SFC, SHC, IFC, JFC, Junior B FC, Junior C FC, U-21 A and U-21 B will be conducted at Michael Murphy Sports & Leisure, Letterkenny, the new sponsors of all the championship, tomorrow.
The draws, to be conducted between 3.30 and 4pm, will be broadcast live on RTÉ Raidio na Gaeltachta.
For the Donegal Senior Football Championship, the 16 teams are being split into two pots – one containing the teams who will have two home games and the other for the teams who will have two away teams.
The teams with two home games in 2016 will be: Dungloe, Malin, Termon, Killybegs, Naomh Conaill, St Michael’s, Bundoran and Sean MacCumhaills.
The teams who will be away twice are: Ardara, Kilcar, Gaoth Dobhair, Glenfin, Glenswilly, Four Masters, St Eunan’s and Naomh Muire.
The IFC will have three groups of four teams each and the JFC will have three groups, two of four teams and a third group with three teams.
