THIS WEEKEND, LETTERKENNY welcomes the Irish National Duathlon Series to Donegal.
Letterkenny’s Triathlon Club 24/7 are proud to host two challenging duathlon distances this Sunday morning starting and finishing from Aura Centre.
The standard distance and sprint distance events are very heavily booked with registration closing tomorrow, Thursday, at 5pm on Triathlon Ireland’s website.
Letterkenny 24/7 Triathlon Club is boasting incredible new memberships in the fastest growing sport in the world have been preparing hard and eagerly await their opportunity to showcase what looks to be possibly the fastest sprint course in the country this Sunday.
The duathlon races start at 9.30am and will be operating on the Bomany Road and Conwal Road routing towards Churchill and back to the Aura, Letterkenny, and will welcome the support of drivers. So it would be appreciated that if those in cars could be patient and supportive of this wonderful national event on our doorstep showcasing Donegal’s hospitality.
The triathlon club have provided route maps for both standard and sprint distances and extend a welcome to spectators to come out support the athletes and enjoy the incredible atmosphere during the race.
