IN A PLAYING sense, there was disappointment for those from Donegal in the Sigerson Cup but at least one man left UUJ smiling on Saturday.
Conall ‘Cons’ McFadden from Milford was physiotherapist for the victorious University College Dublin side, who wrapped up a first title in 20 years with their 0-10 to 2-2 win over Dublin City University.

DCU had Glenswilly’s Philip O’Donnell in goal and Coalan McGonagle from Buncrana, Sean MacCumhaill’s Nathan Gavigan and Cian Mulligan of Gaoth Dobhair were also part of the panel.
McFadden involved with Maynooth Sigerson teams as physio and would have worked at MCR ,which is one of Donegals sponsors for 2016. He has just moved back to the north-west to open his own physio practice in Ramelton and he is the physio for Shaun Paul Barrett’s Donegal minors this year.
