The Termon and Donegal sharp-shooter scored five goals and four points as Eamon O’Boyle’s team defeated Marino at The Peace Link in Clones.
McLaughlin’s handful of goals were crucial on the day as LyIT took an impressive win.
Aine Higgins and Emma McCroary bagged a brace of goals each on a day when Sarah Jane McDonald, Shannon McDonald and Lisa Devaney also impressed.
