CALUM GALLAGHER and LyIT will head into their Trench Cup semi-final in confident tune.
Eamon O’Boyle’s team had 28 points to spare in a one-sided win over Cavan Institute at O’Donnell Park today, the Port Road students winning by 6-11 to 0-01.
The opposition lacked in quality, but LyIT are in good shape – buoyed by the addition of Neil Gallagher to their ranks.
“We knew that we’d have to come out from the start,” Calum Gallagher, the LyIT captain said.
