The new Donegal Women’s League season swings into action this week.
The first teams to kick off in 2017 will be the Under-14s. The first round of games in the Under-14 Terry Leyden League are pencilled in to take place on Wednesday evening, April 5th, at 6.30pm.
Raphoe Town, under Emmett Kelly’s charge, are back in the Donegal Women’s League again and they travel to face John Joe McGinley’s Gweedore United in their opening game on Wednesday.
The John Brennan-managed Finn Valley host Julie McCloy’s Bonagee United, while Paddy McDaid’s Illistrin are at home to Swilly, managed by Brian McFadden.
Lagan Harps U-14s, tutored this season by John Canning, welcome Mulroy Academy, managed by Una Hagan, to Orchard Park.

The Under-12 League kicks off on Monday next, April 10. The Donegal Under-12 inter-league team will play their first FAI National Inter-League game on May 6th when they take on Mayo in Castlebar.

The Under-16 Arena 7 League will kick off on Friday, April 28 with three games down for decision on the first evening: Finn Valley v Bonagee United; Lagan Harps v Kilmacrennan Celtic; Mulroy Academy v Swilly Rovers.
An announcement on the arrangements for the senior league will be made in due course.
