THE SENIOR RESERVE CHAMPIONS took pride of place at the Glenswilly GAA Dinner Dance last night.
Adrian Glackin’s team became the first ever from the club to win a county championship at the bracket, following their victory over Ardara in the final last October at MacCumhaill Park.
Peter McConnell, the club chairman, was MC for the night at the Station House Hotel in Letterkenny and he was joined by treasurer Brian Faul, reserve team manager Glackin, Donegal GAA Assistant Treasurer Paddy Tinney and Donegal GAA Administrator, Noreen Doherty.
The Glenswilly Under-13 and Under-18 ladies’ teams were also displaying their silverware on the night and Darren McGinley was named senior player of the year, while Marie Boyle took the ladies award.
