Pauric McKinney proves to be the Master in Dundalk

PAURIC MCKINNEY WAS the winner of the over-50’s at the Masters’ Cross-Country this afternoon.

The Inishowen AC member was fourth overall in a time of 24 minutes and 18 seconds at the GloHealth Intermediate, Masters, Juvenile B and Inter County Relay Cross Country Championships in Dundalk IT.

In the over-35’s, Donegal were third overall with the team made up of McKinney in fourth, Dermot McElchar in 37th, Shane Mc Nulty in 39th, both Finn Valley AC, Raymond Birch from Letterkenny AC was 40th and Kieran Carlin from Finn Valley 41st. Ivan Toner of Letterkenny and John McElhill of Finn Valley were 45th and 46th respectively.

Those finishes were also enough for Finn Valley to come fifth in the club competiton.

In the women’s event, Caitriona Devine from Finn Valley was fourth in the over-40’s.
