TWO DONEGAL TEENS have been selected on the Republic of Ireland Under-17 home-based international squad.
Sixteen-year-olds, Ramelton native Connor Gormley and Sean McBride from Ballybofey, are both on the books of Derry City.
Midfielder Gormley was previously on the books of Swilly Rovers, while McBride – who scored eight goals in 12 appearances for Derry City last season in the inaugural Airtricity U17 National League – formerly played with Cappry Rovers.
The Irish squad will train together and fixtures will be announced in due course.
