MILFORD UNITED WILL spent Christmas at the top of the tree in the Brian McCormick Sports Donegal League Premier Division.
Last Sunday, Noel Gillespie’s side overcame Drumoghill FC 3-1 at the Moss to cement their position ahead of New Year.
“It was an excellent defensive performance from us,” Gillespie said. “We’re just delighted. We’d a poor start to the season but we’ve put ourselves in a good position for after Christmas. If said if we get to Christmas in contention then we’ll see afterwards because the bulk of the season is played at the business end.”
