BUNCRANA NATIVES JONNY BONNER and Kieran McDaid enjoyed a kick-about with two of Ireland’s greatest this afternoon.
Bonner is with Letterkenny Rovers having played for Wexford Youths in the SSE Airtricity League this season, while McDaid joined Finn Harps from Buncrana Hearts after helping the Inishowen League to success in the Oscar Traynor Cup.
The pair are studying Bachelor of Arts Sport & Exercise at IT Carlow when Ireland captain Robbie Keane and former international Damien Duff popped in. Respectively, they’re doing their A and B coaching badges.

“We heard last Friday that they would be down,” McDaid told Donegal Sport Hub tonight. “They’re sound lads and they were dying to get involved in the games and stayed for a kick about afterwards!”
