OUR CLUB AGM took place in the club house on Monday night.
There was a large crowd present who took part in the motions which were up for debate. On the night Club Chairman Terry O’Reilly paid tribute to all those who give up their time and efforts, both on the field and off it and the great work going on at all levels and codes in the club.
The various committees in the club were all praised as well as well as outgoing management teams. All incoming management teams were wished the best of luck for what will hopefully be another prosperous year for the club.

Junior Christmas Disco:
The club is holding a disco for 10-14 year olds on Tuesday the 22nd of December to help the kids kick-start the festive period. The previous discos have always proved fun for the kids and as many are welcome to attend! Entry is €5. Door opens at 8.00 and disco ends at 10.15pm. Bring your friends and come along for a good night of Christmas music and fun.
Croke Park National Draw:
Tickets for the Croke Park National Draw are now available. The tickets are €10 each and the first prize is a new car along with other great prizes. All the money the club collects stays in the club so we are hoping for a big push this year. Club Shop:
The club has club crested shorts, socks, bags and bobble hats for a range of age groups. If anything is needed please get in contact at 0876236599. We have IS EN Standard-approved small sized hurling helmets in club colours with crest now half price at €55. This is an Ideal Christmas present but we have a limited number in stock.
Club Gear in McElhinneys:
McElhinneys have a large amount of club-crested gear in stock which is going for a reduced price with €10 off each item. These items are available in both the sports and children’s department.
Bingo:
The Bingo takes place in the Villa Rose on Sunday night with an 8.30pm start for the rest of the year. The Snowball jackpot is €9,000 for 45 numbers or less. All are very welcome. On December the 13th we have increased prizes on the night so be sure to come along!
Lotto Results:
There was no winner of this week’s Lotto. The numbers drawn were 2, 3, 7 and 27. There were 3 match three winners: Daire Donaghy, Killygordon, Shannon Kelly, Letterkenny and Charlie Mc Nulty, Cloghan each receive €50. This week’s jackpot is €8,100 and Eugene Gallagher’s team is selling.
Training Schedule:
New players to all teams are more than welcome. Training takes place at the club unless otherwise specified. If there is a change of time/location it will be noted on Facebook or sent via text. Training will cost 2 Euro every week, and all players must have their membership paid. Please bring gum shield/helmet and a bottle of water.
U-8 & U-10 Hurling is at 1.00pm to 2.00pm on Sunday.
U-8, U-10, U-12 and U-14 camogie is on a Sunday at 1.00pm to 2.00pm.
