NAOMH COLMCILLE CAME through an entertaining County Under-21 ‘B’ semi-final against Killybegs in Convoy this afternoon.
The Newtowncunningham based side won on a 5-11 to 3-12 scoreline after extra-time but manager Ryan McKinley was mindful of what lies ahead. For some, the pain of the 4-18 to 0-4 County Intermediate final against Bundoran is still ripe so there’s still a job to be done, against Glenfin.
“This game counts for nothing,” McKinley said. “A lot of them boys are still suffering and they know what they have to do. We’ll take the rest of the week to prepare so hopefully we will take some silverware back to the parish.”
