An excellent second-half performance gave Olly Walsh’s team a deserved victory.
A 21st minute goal by Ciaran Moore helped them to lead 1-5 to 0-3 at the break and they netted three times in the second half with Steve McDaid, their captain, Stephen Black and Moore on the mark with the majors.

Milford were led by the excellent Conor Black, playing the sweeper’s role while Shane Black was outstanding and had a hand in the three second half goals.
Moville were left to rue three fine chances early in the game with the Inishowen team spurning three good goal chances inside the opening 11 minutes.
After a pair of Rory O’Donnell frees got Milford underway, Moville saw Alan Clarke fire wide, Sean McDermott fumbled in a good position and Clarke then fired into the goalkeeper’s hands from six yards out.
Milford’s opening goal arrived when a sideline ball from O’Donnell picked out Moore and he made no mistake in firing past Ciaran McLoughlin, the Moville goalkeeper.
Aidan Ferns and Owen O’Doherty narrowed the margins, but a pair of late points from O’Donnell, one of them a fantastic long-range score, had Milford five up at the changeover.
Ten minutes into the new half, Milford netted a second time. Conor Coll and Shane Black combined to tee up McDaid, who riffled home.
Clarke pulled a goal back after a good team move from Moville (pictured below) and there was just a goal between them with eight minutes left.
Milford responded within a minute, though, with their third goal. It was instigated again by Shane Black. He fed Aaron Reid and he, in turn, teed up Stephen Black to apply the finish.
Late in the game, Moore netted his second with Shane Black, again, the provider.
Clarke struck a goal in added time, his second of the final, after Darren Davenport was denied, but it was Milford’s day.
