THERE WAS A 25-minute because of floodlight failure as Dale Gorman’s Stevenage lost 2-1 to Chestnut in the second round of the Hertfordshire Senior Cup last night.
Manager Teddy Sheringham was watching on at Theobalds Lane as Kevin Watson and Darren Sarll took charge of a Stevenage side comprising first team squad members and scholars.
Letterkenny native Gorman, who signed a three-year deal with the League Two side last week, featured over the course of the 90 minutes but the lights went out just after the quarter-hour.
