THE INISHOWEN AND Donegal League were involved in the draw for the knock-out stages of the Oscar Traynor Cup this evening.
As group winners, Diarmuid O’Brien’s Inishowen League side (pictured above) – the defending champions – were drawn directly into the quarter-finals of the competition away to the Galway League.
Meanwhile, the Donegal League (pictured below) will feature in the play-off round, playing at home to whoever finishes runners-up in Group A between the AUL, United Churches League and Wexford.
There is currently a protest to be heard relating to the Defence Forces v Wexford game in that group.
Should Donegal win against whoever they play, they will also be at home in the last eight against the North-Eastern Football League.
