THE DONEGAL LEAGUE has confirmed that its Sunday fixtures have been posted due to the inclement weather.
‘Storm Desmond’ has completely wiped out all Saturday fixtures and the Donegal League has pulled the pin for Sunday, although there are five cup games – two in the FAI Junior Cup and three in the Ulster Junior Cup – that have not been postponed at the minute.
“The Donegal Junior League have decided to postponed all League games scheduled for tomorrow, Sunday,” said Donegal League PRO.
“That is to say the Premier, the First and Second Divisions of the Donegal League are off. All Junior Cup Fixtures will be decided in the morning. I will keep all informed of any further developments.”
The fixtures that are still are the FAI Junior Cup ties between Cavan Rovers and Rathmullan Celtic, as well as Glengad against Cappry Rovers.
In the Ulster Junior Cup Clonmany Shamrocks welcoem Ballybofey United, Lagan Harps entertain Culdaff FC and Gweedore Celtic are down to play Convoy Arsenal.
All five cup matches have 1:30pm kick-offs.
