TEDDY SHERINHAM HAS declared Dale Gorman as “an outstanding talent.”
The Stevenage manager saw the Letterkenny native tie up a new three-year deal at the League Two club this week, having returned from a two-month lay-off with a back injury in the 2-1 win over Bristol Rovers two weeks ago.
“He’s had his problems since the start of the season with little niggles and a back problem which you always have to be very careful with but he’s been back in training for a month now and I was pleased to see him against Bristol Rovers,” former England international Sheringham told The Comet.

Nineteen-year-old Gorman completed a scholarship at Stevenage having joined from Letterkenny Rovers in 2013.
“He’s very tenacious, how he gets about the pitch and gets close to people which is an art in itself,” Sheringham added. “It’s great to have him back and for him to sign a new contract is great for the football club.
“The way I see it, Stevenage will enjoy watching him over the next two or three years. I think he is an outstanding talent.”
