Weather was the main winner last weekend with minimal action involving club teams.
In the games that were played goals from Zac Gorman, David O’Donnell, Shane Doherty and Calvin O’Brien ensured our Youths advanced to the national stages of the FAI Youth Cup with a 4-0 win over Swilly Rovers.
In the only other on-field action our u16 defeated Kilmacrennan 4-3. Goals in that one from Conor O’Donnell x2, Peter McEniff and Brandon Manues.
Our intermediate cup tie at Dunboyne was a casualty and will now be played on Sunday week ( 13th December) in Dunboyne.
Our seniors are back in league action on Sunday when they host Swilly Rovers at the Aura at 12 noon. Saturday sees our Youths travel to Keadue at 2pm while our u14 Rovers make the short trek to play Bonagee. Our u12 Rovers are home to Milford at Leckview at 1030am also on Saturday. The u12 Crusaders travel to play Milford Blues on Sunday morning at 1015am.
The club would like to congratulate former player Dale Gorman on his new well deserved contract at English League Two side Stevenage.
The club extends its sympathies to the Cribben family, Sligo and Letterkenny and to the McGinty family Ballaghderg on their recent sad bereavements.
