Red Hughs will hope to have defender Gary Kelly cleared to play in Saturday evening’s Ulster JFC final.
Kelly was sent off in the closing stages of the semi-final win over Emyvale last Sunday in Omagh.
However, the club have lodged an appeal and will have a hearing with the Ulster Hearings Committee on Thursday night in Armagh.
“Gary is one of the top footballers in the Cross,” Red Hughs manager Seosamh Mac Ceallabhuà said.
“He captained the Donegal minors and has struggled with injury. He’s missed out on so much and we’re delighted to have him available again.
“To have to deal with not playing in an Ulster final would be devastating.”
Red Hughs are expected to use video evidence in their appeal ahead of their final meeting with Limavady at Celtic Park.
