MARK McGinty was delighted as his Glenfin won for the second time in a row in the 2020 Donegal SFC this evening.
“It was all about getting the two points,” McGinty told Donegal Daily/Donegal Sport Hub.
“We wouldn’t be happy with the second half performance, but we can’t say too much. We’re in a good place at the minute. The lads dug deep too. We kept them at arm’s length the whole game.”
A goal by Ward at the end of the first half had Glenfin nine up at the short whistle and McGinty heaped praise on his ace marksman.
The Glenfin manager said: “He’s rolled back about ten years in the last two weeks. He’s playing out of skin for us. We needed that in the team. it’s so important to have that marksman who’ll score those frees week-in, week-out.”
